had this idea for a towel topper with no button, what I did was dec until I had 8 sts remaining, then made a 12 inch strap on 3 sts ( I used hdc, feel free to use what ever sts you'd like) then skip 2 sts, and slst the end to the next 3 sts.
you just wrap the tuck the towel around the oven handle!
